Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plastics Processing Supervisor to join our team at CBLUO. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our plastics processing shop, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to complete their tasks.
  • Establish and implement methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Prepare and analyze production reports to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, and implement changes to achieve these goals.
  • Train and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field an asset.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to machinery and equipment. A combination of sitting, standing, and walking is required throughout the day.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
