Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team at Kiewit Nuclear Canada. As a key member of our nuclear safety culture, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects. Your responsibilities will include supervising field personnel, managing contract administration, and developing strategies to maintain good client relations.

Responsibilities
  • Mentor and develop junior superintendents and field personnel
  • Review and approve labor rates for foremen, journeymen, and laborers
  • Manage contract administration, including subcontractor and field management meetings
  • Develop and implement plans for project completion and turnover
  • Ensure timely completion of performance evaluations for direct reports
  • Recommend organizational, policy, and procedural changes as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of construction experience, with 3+ years in a leadership capacity
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand various processes and software programs
  • Strong experience in leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration
Working Conditions

This is a field-based role, and you will be required to work at various locations and conditions may vary. You will be expected to work during normal operating hours, with the possibility of overtime and weekends as required.
