Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Firehouse Subs. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are met.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their experience at Firehouse Subs is positive and memorable.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that our inventory levels are optimized and that we are able to meet customer demand.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback, providing insights and recommendations to management on how to improve our operations and customer experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
