About the Role

Parker Johnston Industries Ltd is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates and specifications.
  • Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal.
  • Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Cut materials using power tools or by hand, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Install sheet metal products in various locations, adhering to building codes and specifications.
Work Environment

As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work at heights.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in sheet metal working.
  • Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
