Key Responsibilities- Payroll Management: Calculate and prepare cheques for employee payroll.
- Financial Record Maintenance: Keep detailed financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- General Ledger Oversight: Maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements.
- Journal Entries: Post journal entries accurately.
- Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
- Trial Balance Preparation: Prepare trial balances of books.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Education: Completion of College or CEGEP.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment requiring organizational skills.
- Transportation: Public transportation is available.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
- Job Type: Permanent position.
