Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Services Manager

This is a leadership position responsible for the effective planning and management of multiple technical and functional areas within the Diagnostic Imaging Services department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with other managers and departments to optimize operations and efficiencies.
  • Support physician leads and modality supervisors to ensure effective coordination of operations.
  • Develop and oversee internal operating procedures and policies.
  • Manage human resources, operational budgets, and key performance indicators.
  • Establish and maintain effective liaison within Alberta Health Services.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate degree in Health Sciences Administration or Business Administration.
  • Membership in a professional organization to support professional development.
  • Minimum five years' experience in diagnostic imaging services.
  • Minimum three years' experience in leadership or supervisory capacity.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of diagnostic imaging services and inter-relationships among clinical and technical practices.
  • Proven leadership, analytical, and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote teamwork and collaboration.

This position requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to display situational leadership styles. The successful candidate will be licensed by the appropriate licensing body and have a proven track record of financial competence and change management expertise.
