We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Services Professional to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our business banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and financial advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Service
    • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients through completing transactions, engaging in needs-based conversations, and communicating with clients throughout the branch.
  • Financial Advice
    • Identify client needs and provide tailored financial advice and solutions to clients, when possible, at the point of first contact.
    • Contribute to team sales results by listening and spotting opportunities to offer additional advice, introduce clients to the capability of RBC partners, or personally fulfill client solutions.
  • Risk Management
    • Understand and resolve client concerns, where possible, at first point of contact and be responsible for answering incoming calls and resolving business account inquiries, balancing cash daily and following established procedures if out of balance.
  • Business Development
    • Educate and assist clients, especially business clientele, with using RBC digital capabilities.
    • Manage risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls to protect client and shareholder interests while completing transactions.
  • Transaction Processing
    • Perform business deposits, withdrawals, and bill payments. They will process night deposits, order, ship and prepare Canadian cash for customer pick-up, order and ship foreign exchange currency and process customer service representative chute bags.

Requirements

  • Must-have
    • Cash and custody experience.
    • Proven customer service skills, preferably in the financial or service industry.
    • Drive and self-motivation, as well as excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence.
    • Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (i.e., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.).
    • Personal flexibility to work flexible hours.
    • Eagerness to learn and determination to succeed.
  • Nice-to-have
    • Sales experience in the financial or service industry.
    • Knowledge of RBC Business accounts, products, and offerings.
