We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resource Business Partner to join our Talent Department. As a key member of our team, you will partner with internal business units to support the achievement of operational and people objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide advice and facilitation to leaders and employees on matters of employee relations, human resources planning, employee development, performance management, engagement, succession, employee wellbeing and employee experience.
- Build and utilize business knowledge to develop and improve people strategies in collaboration with business unit leaders.
- Collaborate with the recruiting team and other HR Business Partners to ensure that organization-wide recruitment needs and objectives are supported in a timely and effective manner.
- Support the administration of disability, parental or other leaves in collaboration with other HR team members.
- Act as a point of contact with Canada Life and employees on disability leaves.
- Lead or contribute to the development and implementation of our people programs to support our workplace culture and priorities in collaboration with other HR team members.
- 5+ years of HR experience, including experience in business partnering, recruitment, talent management or learning and development.
- Experience in achieving business impact through HR strategies.
- Experience building partnerships across all levels of the organization.
- Fluency in English and French (verbal and written).
