Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Carl's Jr. as a key member of our kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
- Operate dishwashers to wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and flatware.
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as cooking and reheating meals.
- Stock refrigerators, salad bars, and other storage areas with food and supplies.
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
- Handle and store cleaning products and supplies.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for preparation and cooking.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Will train on the job.
- Criminal record check required.
- Public transportation available.
- Fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and a positive attitude required.
- 32 to 44 hours per week.
- Permanent work term.
- Work language: English.
