About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Myron Thompson Health Centre in rural Alberta. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide a wide range of nursing services to patients, families, and communities, while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Work in a blended acute/ER and continuing care environment
- Lead and support LPNs and Health Care Attendants in caring for acute and long-term care clients
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
- Significant experience in acute care settings, preferably in ER, acute care, med-surg, and cardiac
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership and critical thinking skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including shift work
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office
