Victoria Gymnastics Downtown is seeking a dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. This role is essential in fostering the development of athletes in a supportive and structured environment.

Qualifications

• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Experience: Previous coaching experience is considered an asset.

Work Environment

• Site: Non-smoking facility.
• Setting: Focused on gymnastics training.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain administrative tasks, including filing systems.
• Design, execute, and oversee training sessions.
• Engage in coaching clinics and instructional activities.
• Assess and review athletes' performance and progress.
• Evaluate the skills of potential athletes.
• Provide first-aid and necessary support during training.

Certifications

• Must possess a Level 1 Certificate in Coaching.
• CPR Certification is required.

Safety and Security

• Completion of a criminal record check is mandatory.

Physical Requirements

• Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination are crucial.
• Ability to engage in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
• Willingness to stand for extended periods.
