Electrical CAD Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical CAD Operator to join our team at Inviro Engineered Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating detailed electrical designs and layouts for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed electrical designs and layouts using AutoCAD and Revit MEP software.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards.
  • Prepare and review electrical specifications, diagrams, and schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical design and drafting, preferably in the ICI sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Safety Codes and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
