We are particularly interested in candidates who possess the following qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing and overseeing CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless development and deployment workflows.
- Collaborating with software developers, data analysts, and quality assurance professionals to integrate DevOps methodologies and tools across various teams, providing mentorship and guidance on best practices.
- Automating repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and minimize the risk of human error.
- Monitoring and sustaining system performance and availability, ensuring high reliability, rapid recovery from incidents, and implementing proactive measures to avert future issues.
- Working closely with the Cybersecurity Architect and Engineer to enforce robust security standards and safeguard sensitive data.
- Implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) practices utilizing tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure uniform environment configurations.
- Developing and maintaining monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Continuously assessing and enhancing the CI/CD process, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions for expedited delivery.
- Creating and maintaining thorough documentation for operational processes, systems, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and operational continuity.
- Leading large-scale projects or initiatives, ensuring successful delivery of high-impact outcomes.
- Coaching, mentoring, and delegating tasks, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Operations or a related field.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. A master's degree is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines from inception.
- Experience with cloud platforms, primarily Azure and AWS.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, including design and implementation for extensive environments.
- Advanced proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, C#, Node.js, and Bash.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like AWS CloudWatch, Azure App Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Knowledge of security best practices and tools for securing DevOps workflows.
- Experience in architecting and implementing complex Cloud Operations solutions.
- Excellent collaboration, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficient in system monitoring, root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with demonstrated project management skills.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset.
