Position Overview

Reporting directly to the ASL Plant Manager, the Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Manage the scheduling of raw material procurement to ensure timely delivery of finished products, optimizing both customer satisfaction and transportation expenses.
  • Ensure the supply of raw materials to production aligns with predetermined rates.
  • Engage actively in daily production meetings.
  • Process and monitor orders for raw materials and supplies for manufacturing facilities, utilizing either computerized systems or Kanban methodologies.
  • Assist in conducting inventory counts, compiling results, and alerting management to any inconsistencies.
  • Oversee the logistics of transporting finished goods, handling merchandise returns, and managing raw material flows.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • Completion of a college diploma in logistics, production, or a relevant combination of education and experience.

Experience Requirements:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a comparable role.
