We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeping Clerk to join our team at Trusted Accounting & Tax Services Inc.. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth payroll processes.
Educational Requirements- Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
The ideal candidate should be open to relocation and ready to adapt to various work settings.
Key Responsibilities- Calculate and prepare payroll cheques.
- Maintain and balance financial records across various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
- Post journal entries accurately.
- Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required.
- Prepare tax returns and trial balances.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
Possession of personal transportation is required for this role.
Work ConditionsThe candidate must be capable of working independently, with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. The role may involve repetitive tasks and the ability to work under pressure is essential.
