We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Livestock Care Specialist within our Guelph production facility. The successful candidate will have a strong background in livestock care and be physically capable of handling large bulls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting semen from bulls
- Feeding and caring for bulls, including the handling of hay, silage, and manure
- Operating farm equipment, such as tractors and forklifts
- Maintaining facilities, including cleaning and repairing equipment
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Strong agricultural experience, including livestock handling and care
- Ability and experience operating farm equipment, with a solid mechanical aptitude
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
