Your Profile:

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Estimating, preferably within the construction sector. A degree or diploma in a relevant field is advantageous.

Estimating Duties:

  • Generate quotes and design proposals for management review (including service calls and new initiatives).
  • Identify and engage qualified subcontractors, obtaining competitive pricing for bids.
  • Perform comprehensive analyses of tender documents, providing insights on design, scheduling, potential cost efficiencies, and construction challenges.
  • Participate in on-site pre-bid meetings, tender walks, and site assessments.
  • Prepare precise estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor services, and construction logistics.
  • Develop and assess subcontractor scopes of work, evaluating contractor proposals for optimal value.
  • Foster strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Maintain an updated Master Tender List and continuously seek new trade partners.
  • Organize and present bids to management in a timely and structured manner.
  • Deliver cost estimates aligned with customer proposals, considering both standard and exceptional conditions.
  • Compile project bid status reports, ensuring adherence to all specifications and contractual obligations.
