Job Title: Instructor for Elementary Russian II Course

Description: This position involves teaching the fundamentals of Russian grammar, expanding vocabulary, conducting dictation exercises, facilitating conversation practice, and overseeing laboratory activities. Students are expected to achieve level A1 proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Prerequisite:
Completion of RUS 1901.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Russian or an equivalent qualification
  • Proficiency in Russian with near-native fluency
  • Prior teaching experience at the university level for beginners
  • Familiarity with creating and managing virtual content
  • Experience using Brightspace learning management system
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English
Additional Information: Equivalent education and experience may be considered in lieu of the stated qualifications.
