Medical Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Advisor to join our team at Biocon Biologics in Canada. As a key member of our medical affairs organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing medical strategies for our products, as well as engaging with healthcare providers and stakeholders to advance our therapeutic area expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Therapeutic Area Expertise: Develop and maintain deep medical and scientific expertise for all of Biocon Biologics' products, including developing and validating medical materials for various channels.
  • External Engagement and Insights Generation: Engage with healthcare providers, build relationships, and gather insights to inform our medical strategy and product development.
  • Medical Strategy Leadership and Execution: Develop and implement medical affairs strategic plans for assigned products, working collaboratively with global medical affairs teams to ensure high scientific rigor and applicability to the Canadian market.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or healthcare field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
  • Three (3)+ years prior experience in medical affairs at a Canadian biopharmaceutical company or as a clinician in a Canadian healthcare environment.
  • Strong foundation in key areas of governance and compliance for pharmaceutical activities in Canada.
  • Ability to travel regionally and nationally as required.
  • Bilingualism (written and spoken) in English and French a strong asset.
