Job Summary
The Ready Mix Driver is a key role within Holcim, responsible for delivering high-quality ready mix concrete to customers in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, safety, and environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial vehicle to transport ready mix concrete to customer sites, adhering to all safety and environmental regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
- Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery operations.
- Develop a strong understanding of Holcim's products and services to effectively communicate with customers.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent education.
- Valid Class 3Q (Air Brakes) or Class 1Q driver's license.
- Commercial driver's abstract with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
