Job Title: Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team at Inland Technologies Canada Incorporated. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of equipment used for glycol recovery and processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate equipment in close proximity to airfield personnel, aircraft, and other airfield equipment without interfering with aircraft movement.
  • Collect spent ADF while avoiding the risk of fluid escape.
  • Perform quality assurance sampling of all production processes at regular intervals during shifts.
  • Monitor glycol processing equipment units to ensure optimum production and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of all classroom and on-the-job training.
  • Intermediate computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to interpret documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Work Environment:

The Equipment Operator will work in a warehouse environment with potential for remaining seated extended periods of time. The position involves continuous use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. The warehouse environment may be physically strenuous, with prolonged periods of time standing, exposure to noise, safe but potentially unpleasant odors, varying temperatures, and humidity, in and around heavy moving equipment.

Physical Demands:

The position involves sitting and standing for extended periods of time, as well as bending, kneeling, climbing, using hands to control tools and feel objects, reaching with hands and arms. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. is required.
