Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Robotics Engineer to join our team at Kindred, a subsidiary of the Ocado Group. As a key member of our robotics software development team, you will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and optimizing algorithms related to the production of advanced robotic products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate new technologies and identify bottlenecks to improve processes and create roadmaps for robotics software development and research
  • Mentor and grow junior team members, interns, and peers
  • Develop and optimize algorithms for robotic systems, including adaptive, optimal, and learning-based control
  • Use physics-based simulation to develop robot control policies and experience with real-time control
Requirements
  • 20 years of experience in robotics, machine learning, and optimization
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C, and/or C++
  • Understanding of modelling and control algorithms for robotic systems
