Tecni-Metric Inc., arpenteurs-géomètres is seeking a skilled Geomatics Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist in the conduct of field surveys, operate survey instruments and devices, and analyze data to produce accurate measurements and drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field surveys and operate survey instruments and devices to measure distance, angles, elevations, and contours.
  • Analyze data to produce accurate measurements and drawings.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed drawings, charts, and plans.
  • Keep records, measurements, and other survey information in systematic order.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate field survey activities.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a variety of outdoor and indoor settings, including offices and field locations.
