Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Music Therapist to join our team at St.Amant. As a Music Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing music therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disabilities, complex care needs, Acquired Brain Injuries, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualized music therapy plans to meet the unique needs of clients.
  • Provide music therapy services in a variety of settings, including groups, individual, and dyad formations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordination of planning and services.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of client progress and services provided.
  • Evaluate and implement new products and equipment to meet client-specific needs.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Music Therapy or a related field.
  • Certified Music Therapist (MTA) with the Canadian Association of Music Therapists (CAMT) and/or Music Therapist-Board Certified (MT-BC) with the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience providing music therapy services in an interdisciplinary setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
