About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Friends Painting & Decorating Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning and piling salvaged materials.
  • Health and Safety: Conduct pre-operational inspections and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Site Cleanup: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Machinery Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work outdoors in dusty conditions and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of materials.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires a physically demanding work environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
