OTT Financial Group is a leading Canadian company that enables businesses to accept digital payments. We are seeking a talented Backend Developer Co-op to join our team on a co-op term.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop user-facing features for our applications
  • Optimize performance and ensure responsiveness
  • Work closely with the scrum team to develop high-quality products
  • Conceive and write code while ensuring security, logging, and performance standards
  • Modify existing software to conform to system changes or improve design and development processes
Requirements
  • Working toward a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Hands-on Java development experience
  • Experience with Spring Cloud, microservice API, or Spring security frameworks is an asset
  • Proficient with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
