The Opportunity:

This is a part-time position that requires flexibility and adaptability. As a Facility Attendant, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining rooms for various events and functions. Your primary accountabilities will include:

  • Setting up and taking down tables, chairs, and other equipment for meetings and events
  • Assisting with room setup and ensuring a safe and secure environment
  • Providing exceptional customer service and addressing customer concerns
  • Monitoring facility areas and activities to ensure a safe environment
  • Performing light maintenance and custodial duties to maintain clean and well-maintained facilities

You Bring:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 18 years of age
  • Intermediate First Aid, CPR-C & AED certifications (or ability to obtain prior to start of employment)
  • Custodial experience is an asset
  • Ability to set up rooms according to plan and experience with event room setup is an asset
  • Previous experience working in a customer service-related position is considered an asset
  • WHMIS, safe lifting training, and time management training would be considered assets
  • Experience with Recreation Management and Scheduling software is an asset

Additional Information:

This is a part-time position that requires flexibility and adaptability. You will be required to work a flexible shift schedule, including day, evening, and weekend shifts. Successful candidates must be able to perform physically demanding tasks and will be required to regularly lift up to 30 pounds, bend, push, pull, and kneel to manage the manual labor component of the position.
