Job Summary:

Bravo Target Safety is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Care Paramedic to join our team as an Emergency Response Specialist. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for providing medical standby services and responding to emergencies in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical standby services and respond to emergencies as per your training and provincial scope of practice
  • Set up or update STARS site numbers and complete BTS paperwork packages
  • Conduct and maintain proper and accurate headcounts unless otherwise advised
  • Review and advise on emergency response plans as it relates to a specific site and scope
  • Conduct site safety tours and pre-job inspections prior to completing hazard assessments
  • Participate in all Safety Meetings and review SDS for hazardous materials
  • Incident reporting and assisting in investigations as required
  • Participate in emergency drills as required by Bravo Target Safety and/or the Client
  • Maintain emergency response apparatuses as per manufacturer's recommendations and related standards require

Requirements:

  • Active Alberta College of Paramedics Registration
  • 2 years of PCP experience
  • Reside or have reliable transportation to and from work site
  • Clean Class 5 Driver's License
  • Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level A or C (or equivalent)
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
  • H2S Alive
  • Proven track record of exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrate leadership in all aspects of the job and work within a team environment
  • Excellent organizational, written, and communication skills
  • Computer proficient with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work away from home for extended periods of time, work long hours, and work both day and night shift
  • Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol testing
