About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at MACS STORE. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members, to ensure that they are meeting their sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Assign sales staff to duties, authorize returns of merchandise, and sell merchandise to customers in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to senior management.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that our store is well-stocked and that we are not overstocked or understocked.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure that our store is secure and safe for customers and staff, including maintaining basic security clearance.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with other members of the store management team to achieve our sales and customer service goals, and communicate effectively with staff and customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate, with relocation costs covered by employer.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people, or 3-4 people.
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
