Position Title:
Order Picker (Afternoon Shift)

Location:
Saanichton, BC

Compensation:
Starting at $18/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager or designated personnel, the Order Picker will be responsible for:

  • Picking and assembling orders for outbound delivery or shipment in accordance with company standard operating procedures.
  • Utilizing carts, pallet jacks, and/or forklifts to select products according to customer order specifications and verifying product numbers.
  • Preparing orders for delivery or shipping while adhering to company policies.
  • Following safety and sanitation protocols within the warehouse.
  • Completing all necessary logs and reports.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Strong commitment to safety standards and practices.
  • Willingness to work with raw food products.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment.
  • Physical capability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing 30+ lbs safely and effectively.
  • Good physical fitness and stamina to endure prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor.
