About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Delta Drywall Ltd. as a Construction Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our construction team with various tasks on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by loading, unloading, and transporting materials.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Support Services: Provide support to medical examiners and other personnel as needed.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean and pile salvaged materials, clean up chemical spills, and remove rubble and debris from construction sites.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Tend to or feed machines and equipment used in construction, and perform general laboring duties.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; will train on the job.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors in a dusty environment.
  • Work Setting: Work at various locations.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work.
  • Tools and Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and hard hat required.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Hours: 30-40 hours per week.
