Your main goal in this position is to lead skilled crews to take projects from start to finish. You will manage multiple crews at various job sites for a variety of projects including natural stone, interlock and armour stone installs and soft scape projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the day-to-day work activities of a landscape construction crew.
  • Manage the execution of construction projects, planning labor requirements, equipment requirements and material deliveries and timing to ensure completion of job(s) within project deadlines.
  • Develop team members and build a supportive team environment.
  • Operate a skid steer, mini excavator, and other heavy equipment.
  • Form, pour, and finish concrete.
  • Install retaining walls.
  • Perform masonry work, including flagstone and walls.
  • Carpentry and framing.
  • Pool construction.
  • Plant trees.
  • Grade landscapes.
  • Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication, relationship building, and regular site visits.
  • Manage multiple enhancement projects.
  • Knowledge of LMN business software.
  • Procure and order necessary supplies for enhancement installations.
  • Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven success running commercial and residential landscape construction sites with a crew of 2-3.
  • Experience completing hardscape projects based on plans provided.
  • Experience installing interlock and natural stone, including prepping, grading, installing, and finishing.
  • Experience operating landscaping equipment.
  • Valid G license required.
  • Experience estimating and past design experience is an asset.
  • Experience working within the requirements of a health and safety-minded environment.
