Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess food portion sizes and calculate associated costs.
  2. Design menus and forecast food needs for preparation.
  3. Order food items and kitchen necessities.
  4. Prepare and cook a variety of meals or individual dishes.
  5. Accommodate customers with dietary restrictions or allergies.
  6. Prepare specialized meals for patients as directed by a dietitian or head chef.
  7. Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas.
  8. Provide training to staff on food preparation, cooking, and safety protocols.
  9. Manage inventory and order kitchen supplies and equipment.
  10. Oversee kitchen personnel and assistants.
  11. Maintain records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  12. Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas.
  13. Organize and manage buffets and banquet events.
