Computer Network Specialist

Finartech Inc. is seeking a skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Network Administration: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure seamless network operations.
- Problem-Solving: Provide expert problem-solving services to network users, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Data Management: Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations to safeguard our critical business data.
- Network Setup: Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, ensuring secure and reliable access to our systems.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Work Conditions: Repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a standard office environment with minimal physical demands.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, judgement, and team player.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 hours per week.
