About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at 2450064 ALBERTA LTD. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping Floors: Ensure all floors are clean and free of debris, using a variety of cleaning solutions and equipment.
  • Dusting and Polishing Furniture: Dust and polish all furniture, fixtures, and equipment to maintain a high level of cleanliness and shine.
  • Vacuuming and Cleaning Carpets and Rugs: Vacuum and clean all carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture to remove dirt, dust, and stains.
  • Bed Making and Linen Management: Make all beds and change linens as needed to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Supply Distribution and Restocking: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, and restock linen closets as needed.
  • Disinfection and Sanitation: Disinfect all surfaces, including operating rooms and elevators, to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Lost and Found Management: Handle and report lost and found items to ensure they are returned to their rightful owners.
  • Customer Service: Provide basic information to customers and address any complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Trash and Recycling Management: Empty trash containers and recycle materials as needed to maintain a clean and environmentally friendly environment.
  • Laundry and Linen Services: Launder clothing and household linens to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Supply Procurement: Shop for food and household supplies as needed to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
