Job Title: Automotive Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Down the Road Again Automotive. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with vehicles, ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service and support.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, with experience working on a variety of vehicles and systems. You will be responsible for inspecting and testing vehicles to identify faults and malfunctions, and for repairing or replacing parts and components as needed. You will also be responsible for communicating with customers to understand their needs and providing them with accurate and timely information about their vehicle's condition and any necessary repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with vehicles, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems
  • Inspect and test vehicles to identify faults and malfunctions
  • Repair or replace parts and components as needed
  • Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide them with accurate and timely information about their vehicle's condition and any necessary repairs
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high levels of pressure
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all vehicles are repaired to the highest standards
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as automotive repair or a related technology
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Automotive Mechanic or in a related role
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high levels of pressure
