Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as an Oil Field Labourer at Southern Alberta Drilling & Servicing Co. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the setup, operation, and maintenance of drilling and service rigs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drilling Operations
    • Assist in the manipulation of drill pipes, drill stems, and drill bits at the rig floor.
    • Handle, sort, and move drill pipes, tools, cement, and other materials.
  • Rig Maintenance
    • Clean up rig areas and assist in the setup and takedown of drilling and service rigs and equipment.
    • Drive trucks to transport materials and well service equipment.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks.
    • Be willing to relocate and have relocation costs covered by the employer.
  • Requirements
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience an asset.
    • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
    • Team player with excellent communication skills.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and physically demanding environment with a regular schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
