About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer to join our team at Techwise Canada Inc. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's web applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Gathering

Consult with clients to understand their website requirements and document them for future reference.

Front-end Development

Write, modify, and test website-related code to ensure a seamless user experience.

Design and Prototyping

Prepare mock-ups and storyboards to visualize the website's layout and design.

Communication and Collaboration

Communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Documentation and Reporting

Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.

Research and Evaluation

Research and evaluate various software products to identify the best solutions for our company.

Testing and Quality Assurance

Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls to ensure the website meets our high standards.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in web development.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Personal Qualities

Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent written communication, initiative, organized, and a team player.

Work Environment
  • Work Conditions

Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and attention to detail.

Work Language

English.

Work Hours

35 to 40 hours per week.
