Application Specialist

AppleOne is seeking an experienced Application Specialist to join their team in the electronic automation and technology industry. As an Application Specialist, you will be responsible for providing pre-sales, integration, and post-sales support for a full line of applications and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and solutions to customers, including on-site and remote assistance.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to assemble customer application requirements and provide timely completion of fully engineered application solutions.
  • Manage assigned tasks and provide effective communication with customers to resolve technical product issues.
  • Travel within North America, with occasional short notice, to support customers and provide product integration support.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of related sales experience, with a strong background in electrical engineering and technical support.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to diffuse stressful situations calmly and rationally.
  • Strong computer hardware and software experience, including knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and PLC programming skills (Rockwell/Siemens).
  • 10+ years of relevant technical support experience and mastery of machine automation assembly.
  • 5+ years of relevant pneumatics design and service experience.
