Our projects involve resolving disputes in commercial litigation, family law, fraud, business valuations, business conflicts, natural and man-made disasters, lost profits, and insurance claims. Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified accountant eager to advance their career in forensic accounting.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting preliminary to intermediate analysis of sales, production, and other financial data
  • Performing physical inventory observations and price testing
  • Reviewing source documents relevant to engagements
  • Verifying and proofreading reports and schedules
  • Conducting interviews via phone, video, or in-person to gather information
  • Drafting preliminary reports and schedules
  • Analyzing and reconciling claims to final calculations
  • Engaging in research, data analysis, and evaluation
  • Performing invoice analysis
  • Participating in marketing events and functions with clients

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience
  • An interest in pursuing additional designations such as the CBV
  • Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
  • Capacity to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Well-developed analytical, writing, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to comprehend business operations and the impact of loss events
  • Willingness to take on increasing responsibilities as experience grows
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Additional language skills are considered an asset
