Job Title: Forklift Operator/Clamp Forklift

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clamp Forklift Operator to join our team in Delta BC. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective movement of goods and materials throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift to transport goods and materials throughout the warehouse
  • Load and unload trucks using a clamp truck
  • Conduct inventory counts using RF Scanners
  • Stack and store merchandise in designated areas
  • Perform inventory control activities such as counting and verifying stock
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid forklift operator certification
  • Experience in inventory count with RF Scanners
  • Proven 2-3 years experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes
  • Basic math skills for inventory control purposes
  • Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on equipment
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with all employees
