We are seeking a seasoned medical writer to join our dynamic team at a boutique Medical Communications agency.

Responsibilities:
  • Become an expert on assigned therapies and disease states, staying current with relevant trends and developments.
  • Translate complex medical information into compelling and relevant content that supports brand strategy and engages different target audiences.
  • Identify and utilize relevant data sources to outline, draft, annotate, and reference content, including slide decks, manuscripts, posters, newsletters, video scripts, and podcasts.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to create graphs, charts, and other visuals, and develop the overall layout of deliverables.
  • Present draft content to clients and key opinion leaders, incorporate feedback, and prepare final deliverables.
  • Develop surveys and tools for internal and external projects, and assist in developing advisory board materials.
  • Attend advisory boards, interact with clients and advisors, take notes, and prepare post-meeting deliverables.
  • Assist Account Services with research and identifying potential Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within a therapeutic area.
  • Maintain awareness of project budgets, scope, and timelines, and engage senior team members if work is beyond scope.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree (MD, PhD, MPH, MS, or PharmD) with the ability to deliver high-quality writing in a range of styles tailored for different audiences.
  • 2+ years of medical writing experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to transform complex scientific information into clear, accurate, organized, and engaging content.
  • Strong skills in standard business software, particularly Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to execute on content development based on pre-determined strategy.
