Position: Senior BAS Service Technician at Ainsworth
Overview: Ainsworth is on the lookout for a Senior BAS Service Technician to enhance our Ottawa BAS team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our project team and report directly to the BAS Service Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the delivery of BAS solutions to clients within the Construction/Operation Department.
- Assist in the commissioning, troubleshooting, and startup processes of BAS, HVAC equipment, and lighting control systems.
- Contribute to project documentation and support service groups.
- Acquire and exhibit a comprehensive understanding of Ainsworth's Safe Work and Health & Safety Policies.
- Develop expertise in HVAC and DDC fundamentals, as well as the Schneider Electric BAS product range.
- Complete training specific to Schneider Electric products.
- Show proficiency in BAS networking and system integration.
Required Qualifications:
- Over 10 years of experience in a BAS service technician capacity.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage through Ainsworth.
- Security clearance mandated by Ainsworth's government clientele.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French is advantageous.
- Graduation from a post-secondary technical or engineering program.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and work at heights.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
