About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at H&R Exterior Finish Ltd. as an Exterior Finisher. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced tradespeople in the completion of exterior finishing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials

You will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from job sites.

Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials

You will assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt to complete exterior finishing projects.

Perform Routine Maintenance Work

You will perform routine maintenance work to ensure that equipment and tools are in good working condition.

Remove Rubble and Debris

You will remove rubble and debris from construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.

Install Door, Window, and Other Hardware

You will assist in installing door, window, and other hardware to complete exterior finishing projects.

Assemble, Erect, and Dismantle Scaffolding

You will assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment to ensure safe access to work areas.

Install Vapour Barriers and Fire-Retardant Materials

You will install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials to ensure that exterior finishing projects meet safety standards.

Trowel or Spray Coats of Stucco

You will apply coats of stucco to exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces.

Install Sheet Metal Flashings

You will install sheet metal flashings to ensure that exterior finishing projects meet weatherproofing standards.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to lift heavy loads, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions.

Education and Experience

Experience in the construction industry is an asset, but not required.
