Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Certarus is a leading provider of low-carbon energy solutions, and we're seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of trucks and trailers, ensuring they are in top condition to meet the demands of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers, including diagnostic tests and inspections
  • Assist technicians with complex repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Keep inventory of parts and supplies, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Operate a forklift and other equipment as needed
  • Collaborate with the Regional Operations Supervisor to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with a focus on heavy vehicles
  • 310T Certificate of Qualification
  • Ability to diagnose and repair engines, electrical systems, and brake components
  • Excellent organizational and technical communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
