Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic certified Sports Medicine Specialist who thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment. This role involves working closely with a diverse team of professionals, including Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Registered Massage Therapists, Athletic Therapists, Osteopaths, and practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

We employ a combination of movement therapies, manual techniques, and repatterning strategies to help individuals recover and achieve optimal functionality. Our Team: Comprising 15 skilled practitioners, we operate in a well-equipped facility designed to facilitate effective rehabilitation and performance optimization. Our spacious clinic features private treatment rooms and a comprehensive movement and rehabilitation area, ensuring that clients have access to the resources they need for recovery.
Patient Engagement: Our patients are active participants in their healthcare journey, making exceptional communication skills and a compassionate approach essential for this role. Candidates should be eager to integrate innovative practices with evidence-based medical care within a collaborative framework. Our clientele includes recreational athletes, competitive sportspeople, and individuals with general musculoskeletal concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
• Foster open communication and teamwork across various disciplines within the clinic.
• Provide in-clinic consultations for patients, with options for virtual appointments.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ultrasound-guided interventional therapies, including the use of hyaluronic acid, cortisone, and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP).
Qualifications:
Medical Degree (MD) CCFP Certification Registered and in good standing with the relevant medical regulatory body Sports Medicine Diploma from CASEM or a similar organization, with a Focused Practice Designation in Sports Medicine Excellent communication abilities and a strong bedside manner Experience with competitive athletes is advantageous Training in ultrasound-guided injection therapies and interventional techniques, including PRP therapy, is requiredThis role is structured as an Independent Contractor position, with part-time hours that may evolve into full-time opportunities.
