Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our team at CB Canada. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating the work of operations clerks, ensuring the quality and productivity of packages processed, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the work of operations clerks under your responsibility in a fair and efficient manner
- Train and develop operations clerks to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
- Validate the quality and productivity of packages processed, ensuring they meet our high standards
- Validate procedures and ensure they are followed, making recommendations for improvement as needed
- Ensure follow-up on emails and other communication from operations clerks, responding promptly and professionally
- Validate and approve expired logs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
- Coordinate continuity between work shifts, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing downtime
- Coordinate escalating emails and other communication, resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Take charge of urgent research and investigations, providing timely and accurate results
- Follow-up with road supervisors to resolve problematic cases, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, tidy, and prepared for the evening shift, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
- Maintain inventory of supplies, ensuring we have the necessary materials and equipment to perform our duties
- Perform other related tasks as required, contributing to the overall success of our team
Requirements and Skills:
- 1 year of experience in employees supervision, with a proven track record of success
- Customer service experience, with a focus on providing excellent service and resolving issues promptly
- Experience in transport logistics, with a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges
- Mastery of the Office suite, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity software
