Make a Difference in Patient Lives as an Occupational Therapist
Home and Community Care Support Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients within their homes and communities.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and functional limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing occupational performance and improving daily living skills.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Meticulously document all findings, interventions, and progress notes in accordance with established policies and standards.
Your Qualifications:
- Registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with the relevant regulatory body.
- In-depth knowledge of occupational therapy principles, practices, and evidence-based interventions.
- Strong understanding of community resources and support systems available to patients.
- Proven experience working within a healthcare setting, preferably in a home health or community care environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in English is essential; fluency in French is an asset.
