Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at BEST WESTERN PLUS PARRY SOUND. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, walking.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.

  • Supports for Visible Minorities: Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
