Finance Director Opportunity

Civil Construction is seeking a seasoned Finance Director to join their Senior Leadership Team. As a key member of the team, you will oversee Finance, IT, Office Administration, and system assurance for complex construction and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and planning with the Senior Management Team
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, external financial reporting, and technical accounting under ASPE
  • Ensure effective compliance, control, governance, and risk management
  • Manage change and innovation, and develop Corporate Risk Register and ISO Governance Standards
  • Establish and operate the Internal Audit function
  • Review proposals/contracts to maintain organizational interests
  • Perform special projects as requested by the President or Board of Directors

Requirements:

  • 15+ years' progressive experience in Finance, IT, and support teams
  • Strong experience in financial controls, process design, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with Trimble Vista finance software and construction industry is an asset
